Welsh red meat producers are being encouraged to share their future business plans with the levy body representing them. The Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotions Wales (HCC) is seeking feedback through their Farmer Intentions Survey to gain insights into the industry’s outlook. Last year’s survey showed a slight increase in optimism compared to the previous year, with sheep numbers improving and input costs easing. This year, the survey aims to assess the challenges facing farmers in Wales and explore their future business strategies. By participating in the 10-minute survey, producers will have the chance to win a £50 meat voucher. The online survey will remain open until Monday 23 September. Visit the survey link to share your thoughts and help shape the future of the red meat industry in Wales.
