The Ministry provided training for agricultural engineers who offer consultancy to firms to ensure compliance with quarantine rules for exporting fresh fruit and vegetables to the Russian Federation. The training covered Export procedures in the Russian Federation, quarantine requirements, analysis applications, and product preparation.
The training took place at the Mediterranean Exporters’ Union and was attended by the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, the Mersin Plant Quarantine Director, and 314 agricultural consultants. Subject matter experts delivered presentations, informing participants about the relevant issues.
The aim of this training was to assist agricultural engineers working in firms to prevent potential problems during exports to the Russian Federation and to ensure that products are prepared in accordance with quarantine regulations.
