The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, announced via social media regarding agricultural support payments. Today (July 26), a total of 2 billion 211 million 646 thousand lira in support payments will be deposited into farmers’ accounts. These payments include support for agricultural insurance premiums, compensation for animal diseases, Rural Development investment support, genetic resources support for animals, certified seed production support, R&D support, additional support for breeding sheep and goats, and fuel and fertilizer support. It is hoped that these supports will be beneficial and prosperous for farmers.
