Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı visited the Turkish Union of Agricultural Chambers (TZOB) and held a consultation meeting there. The meeting was also attended by TZOB President Şemsi Bayraktar and board members.

Additionally, the meeting was graced by the presence of Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry Ebubekir Gizligider, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gümen, Dr. Ahmet Bağcı, and Abdulkadir Polat. TZOB was represented by Deputy Chairman Ahmet Bahadır Sezgin and several board members.

During his speech, Minister Yumaklı expressed his satisfaction in being together with the TZOB delegation and emphasized the importance of working collaboratively with professional organizations to advance agricultural production. He also mentioned that they would listen to the opinions and suggestions of the TZOB delegation and that they were open to all kinds of recommendations.

TZOB President Şemsi Bayraktar highlighted that the meeting was promising for farmers. Bayraktar stated that collaboration with the Ministry would contribute to solving problems and that they would continue their efforts to minimize the issues faced in the food sector. He also stressed the importance of food nationalism and the necessity of supporting producers.

At the meeting, projects prepared by the Turkish Union of Agricultural Chambers aimed at preventing food residues were presented. Bayraktar noted that projects to be conducted in partnership with the ministry would enhance farmers’ contributions to production and ensure the country’s food security.

Minister Yumaklı and his team expressed their satisfaction and hoped that this consultation meeting would lead to positive outcomes.
