Amik Plain, one of the fertile lands in Hatay, enables the cultivation of various crops and contributes to the regional economy. Despite the recent earthquake disaster, farmers in Hassa have begun the grape harvest.
Approximately 49,000 decares of land are expected to yield a total of 98,000 tons of grapes. During the harvest program organized by the Hatay Governorship in Hassa, Governor Masatlı wished the producers abundant profits.
Governor Masatlı highlighted the longstanding grape production culture in Hassa and emphasized the importance of supporting farmers who continue traditional grape cultivation while utilizing modern agricultural methods.
The grape harvest was also attended by the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Abdurrahman Türkmen, Kırıkhan District Governor Ayhan Akbay, farmers, and district protocol members.
