CNH Ends Partnership with Pecks

CNH has issued a 12-month termination notice to G&J Peck as part of its strategy to reorganize its dealer network in the region.

During this transitional period, Pecks will continue operations, selling New Holland and Case IH equipment from its six branches located across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.

Post-termination, the dealership plans to maintain its role in providing CNH parts and service, while its other franchises, including JCB, Amazone, and Krone, will remain unaffected.

Ernest Doe Expands by Acquiring Burdens Locations

Ernest Doe & Sons is set to acquire two branches from Burdens Group, a fellow New Holland dealer.

The two locations are in Sutterton and North Kyme, enhancing Doe’s footprint in Lincolnshire, and will be supported by its Littleport outlet in Cambridgeshire.

Sharmans Takes Over Claydon Sales in Expanded Territory

Sharmans Agricultural is extending its sales and support for Claydon products into Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and Northamptonshire, previously covered by the now-closed Collings Brothers dealership.

With this expansion, Sharmans’ eight depots across several counties will now offer Claydon’s drills and related products, including those from their new facility at Pattishall near Towcester.

George Colliar Partners with Merlo

Merlo has appointed George Colliar to succeed J Low Agri as the regional dealer for Fife and Perthshire.

The dealership operates out of Balado in Kinross and also deals in Same Deutz Fahr tractors, Alpego cultivators, drills, and Vicon grass equipment.

Malpas Tractors Welcomes AVR and Scanstone Products

Malpas Tractors has begun offering equipment from Belgian manufacturer AVR, marking the end of its nine-year partnership with Grimme.

This new arrangement allows Malpas to sell various AVR products, including cultivators, toppers, and harvesters, across Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales, and South Yorkshire. Additionally, the dealership has signed on as a Scanstone dealer for the western region of England, supplying destoners and bed tools.

CC Agricultural Engineering Adds Deutz-Fahr to Portfolio

Chris Coleman Agricultural Engineering has secured a deal to supply Deutz-Fahr tractors across Norfolk, Cambridge, and Lincolnshire.

Founded in 2021, this company also markets Holmer root crop machinery and Harry West trailers from its location in Stoke Ferry, near King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

End of an Era for RC Setchfield

After 40 years in business, RC Setchfield in Grantham has closed its doors for good. Appointed as a Deutz-Fahr dealer just last year, the venture ended by January amid retirement plans from owner Richard Setchfield.

Customers of Merlo and Kioti are directed toward nearby dealers, Cooks Midlands and Robert H Crawford & Sons, respectively.

Bale Baron Takes On Agronic Implement Distribution

Bale Baron UK has acquired distribution rights for Agronic implements in the UK market, which includes a range of Finnish products, previously sold by Henderson Agri Services.

Distribution in Northern Ireland remains unchanged, with George Hamilton Machinery retaining exclusive rights.

RVT Appointed Grimme Service Partner

Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) has become a premium service partner for Grimme in Lancashire, with its Ormskirk location now focusing on enhanced after-sales support, including a full range of replacement parts.

The existing arrangement to sell Grimme’s root crop equipment continues in Derbyshire and Staffordshire from the Sudbury depot.

A new facility for RVT Commercial Vehicles has also opened in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, complementing existing services for Isuzu vehicles.

Kymco Expands Dealer Network

In a recent expansion, Kymco has brought on three new dealers, including DA Forgie’s Lisburn branch, which is now their second location in Northern Ireland, as well as Ark ATVs in Minehead and JG Paxtons in North Yorkshire.
