Pink Ladies 2024 Tractor Run Raises Over £100,000 for Cancer Research

The Pink Ladies Tractor run recently donated over £127,000 to Cancer Research UK’s breast cancer appeal, following this year’s successful event in July. A total of 191 women drove 178 pink tractors for 20 miles through south Norfolk and north Suffolk, raising the total amount fundraised since the first event in 2004 to £1,224,150. Organiser Annie Chapman was thrilled with the turnout, which included 63 first-time participants. One such participant, Dawn Briggs, has been involved since 2007 and found this year’s event especially meaningful as her daughter Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to Cancer Research’s research and funding, Julie underwent successful chemotherapy treatment. Dawn emphasizes the importance of continued support for events like the Pink Ladies Tractor run to help more people like her daughter become brave survivors.
