New Addition to the List of Geographical Indication Registered Products!
Ismail Yetiskin announced the acceptance of the application and the receipt of the registration certificate, stating, “We are working to highlight Seferihisar in the fields of agriculture, tourism, and gastronomy. We previously obtained a geographical indication for Seferihisar mandarin. Now, obtaining the geographical indication for wheat is extremely important for the preservation of our local agricultural heritage and its transmission to future generations. The geographical indication will ensure that Seferihisar’s local products are recognized both nationally and internationally, which will significantly contribute to the region’s economy.”
