In 2024, operating and maintenance fees for users of certain Irrigation facilities have been determined. Fees will be charged for facilities located in Ağrı (Eleşkirt), Tunceli (Akpazar), Elazığ (Kuzuova), Van (Van and Gürpınar), Bursa (Dağdibi), İzmir (Rahmanlar), Adana (Imamoğlu 4th phase and Meletmez), Erzurum (Kirazlı), Elazığ (Kanatlı), Diyarbakır (Başlar), Kayseri (Bünyan Sarıoğlan), Şanlıurfa (Viranşehir 1st and 2nd tier), Şanlıurfa (Mardin Ceylanpınar plains 2nd and 3rd phase), Sivas (Nevruz), Gümüşhane (Sadak and Günbatur), Kastamonu (Bezirgan Hazım Kılıç, Çay and Hasanlı), and Çanakkale (Taşoluk) according to the established tariffs for Irrigation facilities.
Plant Growth Duration Determines Water Fees
The operating and maintenance fees will be determined based on the growth duration of each plant. Therefore, if different plants are planted in the same parcel within a year, separate operating and maintenance fees will be charged for each plant. Annual operating and maintenance fees will be charged to the parcel owner, tenant, or co-operator, regardless of the number of Irrigation systems used.
Discount Conditions
If different plants are planted in the same parcel and the previous plant has been irrigated, a 20% discount will be applied to the operating and maintenance fees for the subsequent plants. For farmers who continuously irrigate their plants with their own pumps, the operating and maintenance fees will be 50% discounted (including sprinkler and drip Irrigation).
