The “Enhancement of Agricultural Land Use (EAUL) Project,” aimed at increasing the productivity of agricultural lands in Kars, provides various supports through the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. Thanks to these supports, certified seeds are provided to farmers, and agricultural activities are encouraged.

As part of the project, idle lands are being reintroduced for agricultural use, providing support to farmers. With these supports, farmers are able to experiment with new crops, achieving positive outcomes and contributing to the economy.

The Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Enver Aydın, has stated that the project is being successfully implemented in Kars. With the support provided to farmers, agricultural areas have been expanded, and new experimental fields for crops have been created.

As a result of the efforts, new products such as chickpeas have been observed to grow efficiently. The distribution of certified seeds to farmers across the province has boosted agricultural productivity and contributed to the region’s economic development. This project aims to reclaim idle lands for agriculture and enhance the agricultural potential of the area.
