Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı announced that a total of 2 billion 888 million 041 thousand 394 liras will be disbursed as agricultural support payments to farmers. These supports are allocated to various areas; 1 billion 562 million 876 thousand 251 TL for crop insurance support, 1 billion 206 million 326 thousand 188 TL for calf support, 64 million 132 thousand 908 TL for individual Irrigation grants, and 54 million 706 thousand 47 TL for Rural Development investment support.
The support payments will be credited to farmers’ accounts on September 27, 2024. A different payment schedule will be applied for calf support; those whose T.C. identification number ends in 0-2-4 and whose tax identification number ends in 0-1-2-3-4-5-7-9 will receive payments after September 27, 2024, while others will receive payments after October 4, 2024. Minister Yumaklı wished that the support payments made to farmers would be beneficial and fruitful.
