The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, announced that they will provide agricultural support payments totaling 1 billion 962 million 46 thousand lira to farmers. These supports will be provided in various areas, and the details are as follows:
– 1 billion 148 million 843 thousand 109 TL for raw milk support,
– 600 million TL for plant product insurance support,
– 110 million 424 thousand 58 TL for animal disease compensation support,
– 86 million 872 thousand 475 TL for Rural Development and investment support,
– 14 million 442 thousand 653 TL for cereal, pulses, and corn support,
– 1 million 292 thousand 825 TL for certified seed usage support,
– 170 thousand 880 TL for animal genetic resources support.
The payment dates for raw milk support are set as follows: Payments will be made on September 20, 2024, for those whose T.C. identification number ends in 0-2-4 and whose tax identification number ends in 0-1-2-3-4-5-7-9. Other supports will be credited to farmers’ accounts in a single installment on September 20, 2024.
Minister Yumaklı expressed hopes that the support provided will be beneficial and bountiful for farmers.
